TradePro® motor-run capacitors are UL/CSA recognized and protected to 10,000 AFC. Each capacitor is OEM quality, meeting EIA-456-A standards, and undergoes extensive electrical testing before shipping to ensure reliability over many years of operation. The capacitors operate within a temperature range of 40°C to 70°C (40°F to 158°F), featuring a life span of 60,000 hours at rated temperature. They have been subjected to accelerated life tests, demonstrating performance for 2000 hours at 125% of rated voltage at 80°C. Additional attributes include a thick, seven micrometer film for enhanced reliability, vacuum sealing to prevent leaks and contaminants, a 1.5mm plastic cup supporting Mylar film rolls, and a Nomex sleeve for protection and insulation of the Mylar film rolls. The capacitors are tested per EIA-456-A standards with an industry-best tolerance of +/-3%, and are UL, CSA, and VDE approved.
