The 58SB01/58SB1A 4-way multipoise gas furnaces feature an 80% AFUE and Carrier's QuieTech™ noise reduction system, ensuring incredibly quiet induced draft operation. These furnaces offer application flexibility with a 4-way multipoise design, through-the-furnace downflow venting, and 13 different venting options, along with easy service access. An inner blower door enhances sealing in sensitive applications. The units are approved for natural or propane gas use, with the 58SB1A low NOx models designed for California installations, meeting 40 NG/J NOx emissions standards, and they can be installed in air quality management districts with a similar requirement. Key features include a microprocessor-based control center with enhanced diagnostics using an LED and reflective sight glass, which stores fault codes during power outages, along with adjustable heating air temperature rise and cooling airflow. The furnace also includes a power heat igniter, a draft safeguard switch to ensure proper venting, and installation flexibility. All models are compatible with the Hybrid Heat® dual fuel system and are chimney-friendly when used with an accessory vent kit. This product is certified with a cabinet air leakage of less than 2.0% at 1.0 in.W.C. and less than 1.4% at 0.5 in.W.C., tested according to ASHRAE Standard 193. The product is made in the USA.
