The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide is designed without offset and constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing a robust barrier that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. This safety shield complies with CE, UL, and CSA certifications and includes a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet diverse machine guarding requirements. Various mounting options facilitate reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, and the shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
