The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide is designed without offset and constructed of 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing an exceptionally tough and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components in this kit carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The modular design enables customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring for optimal machine guarding solutions. The kit includes various mounting options, allowing for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios. Furthermore, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to suit different work setups and table heights.
