The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide features no offset and is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a tough, rigid, and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. This shield carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications and includes a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain operational efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for various machine guarding challenges. It is offered with multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios if required. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable, accommodating varying work setups and table heights.
