The Protector Series Shield for lathe crosslide is designed without offset and features a robust construction of 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring maximum durability and safety for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes all necessary components, which carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields are backed by a limited one-year warranty. Additionally, a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, enabling users to tackle various machine guarding challenges. The available mounting options enhance flexibility, allowing for reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, and all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
