The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide features a no offset design and is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing an exceptionally tough, rigid, and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it adaptable to various machine guarding challenges. Additionally, various mounting options are available, enabling the shield to be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios. All shields can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
