The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines with a left side mount and a 16" offset. It is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring an extremely tough, rigid, and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components meet CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The modular design allows for configuration of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, providing optimal solutions for complex machine guarding challenges. The shields offer various mounting options and allow for reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios when required. They are also vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate varying work setups and table heights.
