The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left side mounting with a 16" offset, constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring an extremely tough, rigid, and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes various components that are CE, UL, and CSA certified, alongside the shield which comes with a limited one-year warranty. A complete line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain peak efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customizable configurations of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring optimal solutions for challenging machine guarding situations. The shields also feature various mounting options for reversibility to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios when necessary, and they are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to suit different work setups and table heights.
