The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines features an octagonal design with dimensions of 24" x 10", a left mount, and an articulating mechanism with a single base pivot and three arms. It offers a 36" reach with an interlock and a 16" offset, while the shield has no enclosure. Constructed from durable 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield effectively protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A complete line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet challenging machine guarding requirements. Additionally, various mounting options enable reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, and the shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
