The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring an octagonal shape with dimensions of 28" x 10". It includes a left mount, articulating single base pivot with 3 arms, offering a 36" reach with interlock and a 16" offset, and does not have an enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield provides robust protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The design is modular, allowing for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet various machine guarding challenges. The shields are available with multiple mounting options and facilitate reversal for opposite-hand mounting when needed. Additionally, all shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
