The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring an octagonal shape with dimensions of 28" x 10". It includes a left mount, articulating design, single base pivot, three arms, and a reach of 36" with a 16" offset, along with a lighted interlocked enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers exceptional durability and protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified by CE, UL, and CSA, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for a wide range of machine guarding challenges. Various mounting options are available, and the shields can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios as needed. They are also vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
