The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring an octagonal shape with dimensions of 28" x 10". It includes an LED light, left mount, and an articulating design with double pivot and three arms, offering a 36" reach and a 16" offset with an interlocked enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield provides robust protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit is certified by CE, UL, and CSA, and comes with a limited one-year warranty. Modular in design, the Protector Series shields allow for customizable configurations regarding shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, catering to various machine guarding challenges. Multiple mounting options are available, enabling reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios. Additionally, the shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
