The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines and features an octagonal shape with dimensions of 24" x 10". It includes a left mount, articulating mechanism, single base pivot, and three arms with a reach of 36" without interlock and a 16" offset, although it does not come with an enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is exceptionally tough, rigid, and durable, providing protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified with CE, UL, and CSA, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The modular design allows for customization in terms of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to effectively address machine guarding challenges. It is available with various mounting options and can be reversed to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios as needed. Additionally, the shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to suit different work setups and table heights.
