The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring an octagonal shape with dimensions of 28" x 10". It includes a left mount, articulating design with double pivot and three arms, providing a 36" reach without interlock and a 16" offset, though it does not come with an enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is robust and durable, offering protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications and the shields are backed by a limited one-year warranty. The modular design allows for configurations that accommodate various shield shapes, sizes, mounts, arms, offsets, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it adaptable for challenging machine guarding scenarios. It offers multiple mounting options for versatility, including the capability for reversal to handle opposite-hand mounting situations, and all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
