The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal safety shield measuring 12" x 8", designed for right mount and direct mount with an interlock feature, featuring a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides exceptional durability and protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The shield and all its components are CE, UL, and CSA certified, and it comes with a limited one-year warranty. Additionally, a comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is offered to ensure optimal performance. The modular design allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring for tailored machine guarding solutions. It also includes various mounting options and can be reversed to accommodate opposite-hand mounting when needed. The shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to suit different work setups and table heights.
