The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left-side mounting with a 16" offset. It is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a robust and durable safety barrier that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it adaptable for various machine guarding challenges. Multiple mounting options are available, enabling reversal for opposite-hand configurations when needed. Additionally, the shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
