The Protector Series Chip Shield for drill presses is designed for left side mounting and features an octagonal shape with dimensions of 12" x 8". It includes a direct mount with an interlock and a 24" offset, without any enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is exceptionally tough, rigid, and durable, effectively protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The product carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and comes with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal operation. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for a variety of configurations regarding shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring the best solution for challenging machine guarding scenarios. It offers multiple mounting options and allows for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting needs.
