The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal safety device measuring 16" x 8", designed for right mount, direct mount applications with a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides robust protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The product includes components that comply with CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A complete line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for a variety of machine guarding challenges. Additionally, the shields are compatible with multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios as needed, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
