The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal safety shield measuring 28" x 10", featuring a right mount, direct mount with interlock, and a 12" offset, without enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides exceptional durability and rigidity to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. It carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and comes with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available for maintaining peak efficiency. The modular design allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to effectively tackle challenging machine guarding requirements. The shields offer various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand scenarios, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
