The Protector Series Chip Shield for drill presses features a left side mount with dimensions of 6" x 8" and a 14" offset, designed for direct mounting with an interlock and no enclosure. Constructed of 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers robust protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are CE, UL, and CSA certified, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available for optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for various machine guarding challenges. The shields are equipped with multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios. Additionally, they are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
