The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses is designed for left side mounting and features an octagonal shape measuring 9" x 8". It offers direct mounting with an 18" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides exceptional durability by protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications. The shields come with a limited one-year warranty and a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure peak efficiency. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet diverse machine guarding needs. Various mounting options enable reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, while all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
