The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is designed with an octagonal shape, measuring 6" x 8", featuring a right mount and direct mount with interlock, along with a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers exceptional toughness, rigidity, and durability to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified with CE, UL, and CSA compliance, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain shield performance. The modular design allows for customizable configurations of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to effectively address various machine guarding challenges. The shields also feature multiple mounting options, enabling reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, and they can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
