The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal design measuring 20" x 10", featuring an LED light, right mount, direct mount with interlock, and a 12" offset, along with a lighted interlocked enclosure. These shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a robust and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified with CE, UL, and CSA approvals, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available for optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows flexibility in configuring shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for various machine guarding applications. Several mounting options are available, enabling reversal for opposite-hand mounting situations when needed, and all shields are both vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
