The Protector Series Chip Shield for drill presses is a left side mount shield featuring an octagonal design with dimensions of 6" x 8" and includes an LED light. It is designed for direct mounting with an interlock system and offers a 14" offset, providing a lighted interlocked enclosure. Made from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is extremely tough, rigid, and durable, effectively protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The shield complies with CE, UL, and CSA certifications and comes with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet specific machine guarding needs. The shields offer various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, ensuring versatility. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
