The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses is designed for left side mounting and features an octagonal shape measuring 9" x 8". It includes an LED light, direct mount with interlock, and an 18" offset, all within a lighted and interlocked enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers exceptional toughness, rigidity, and durability, effectively protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes all necessary components that carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. Designed with modularity in mind, the Protector Series allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet various machine guarding needs. Additionally, it offers various mounting options, enabling reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, and all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
