The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal model measuring 12" x 8", designed for right mount and direct mount without interlock, featuring a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield provides exceptional protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The product includes CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and is backed by a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to tackle complex machine guarding needs.
