The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is designed with an octagonal shape and dimensions of 16" x 8". It features a right mount and a direct mount without interlock, with a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield provides robust protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components have CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields carry a limited one-year warranty. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for diverse machine guarding challenges. Various mounting options are available, including the ability for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios. Additionally, the shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to adapt to different work setups and table heights.
