The Protector Series Chip Shield for drill presses features a left side mount with an 18" offset. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is designed to provide robust protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components meet CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customizable configurations regarding shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring a tailored solution for complex machine guarding requirements. It offers various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting situations, with vertical and horizontal adjustability to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
