The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses is designed for left side mounting and features an octagonal shape measuring 12" x 8" with a built-in LED light. It offers a direct mount without interlock and includes a 24" offset for added flexibility. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is exceptionally tough, rigid, and durable, effectively safeguarding operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes all necessary components, which are certified to CE, UL, and CSA standards, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customizable configurations regarding shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to tackle even the most challenging machine guarding requirements. Various mounting options are available, and the shields can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios as needed. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
