The Protector Series Chip Shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left side mounting with a 16" offset. This shield is constructed of 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing a robust barrier against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. It includes CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and comes with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain peak efficiency. Its modular design allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring optimal solutions for challenging machine guarding scenarios. The shield features various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting requirements. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
