The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines features a left side mount with a 16" offset and is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a tough and durable safety shield to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes CE, UL, and CSA certified components, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. Additionally, a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available for optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customizable configurations, including shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for a variety of machine guarding challenges. They offer various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting when needed, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
