The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left side mount with a 16" offset. It is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a tough, rigid, and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes all necessary components and carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications, along with a limited one-year warranty on the shields. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain peak efficiency. The modular design allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring. Various mounting options enable reversal for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, and all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
