The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses is designed for left side mounting with a 24" offset. These shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, offering an extremely tough, rigid, and durable safety barrier against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified with CE, UL, and CSA standards, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal operational efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet specific machine guarding needs. The shields offer various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios when required. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate varying work setups and table heights.
