The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses features a left side mount with a 14" offset. Constructed of 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is designed to be extremely tough, rigid, and durable, providing protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are CE, UL, and CSA certified, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A complete line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to meet diverse machine guarding challenges. Various mounting options are available, enabling the shields to be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios when required. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
