The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left side mount with a 24" offset. These shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing an extremely tough, rigid, and durable safety shield to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are CE, UL, and CSA certified, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A complete line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customizable configurations regarding shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making them suitable for the most challenging machine guarding applications. Additionally, these high-quality shields offer various mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios when necessary. All shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally, accommodating different work setups and table heights.
