The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring a three-sided configuration with dimensions of 24" x 9" x 6.5". It offers a left mount with an articulating single base pivot and three arms, providing a 36" reach with interlock and a 24" offset, without an enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is exceptionally tough, rigid, and durable, effectively protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The shield assembly carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications and includes a limited one-year warranty. A complete line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization in shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for various machine guarding challenges. The shields can be mounted in different configurations, accommodating opposite-hand setups as necessary, and are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to adapt to different work environments and table heights.
