The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines features a three-sided design with dimensions of 24" x 9" x 6.5". It is left-mounted, articulating, and includes a single base pivot with three arms, providing a 36" reach without interlock and a 24" offset, but with no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers exceptional durability and protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The product carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain peak efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to effectively address challenging machine guarding needs. Various mounting options are offered, and the shields can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, with vertical and horizontal adjustability to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
