The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is a curved model measuring 12" x 8", equipped with LED lighting, designed for right direct mounting with an interlock and a 12" offset, featuring a lighted interlocked enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is highly durable and rigid, ensuring operator protection from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified under CE, UL, and CSA standards, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain peak operational efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization in terms of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to effectively address various machine guarding challenges. The shields offer multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
