The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is a curved design measuring 20" x 10", featuring a right mount with direct mounting capability without an interlock and a 12" offset, but no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers exceptional toughness, rigidity, and durability to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The components of the shield carry CE, UL, and CSA certification, and each shield is covered by a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal operational efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customizable configurations including shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring effective solutions for challenging machine guarding situations.
