The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is a curved safety solution measuring 28" x 10", featuring a right mount for direct installation without interlock and a 12" offset, designed without an enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides robust protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The shield and its components carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications and come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain operational efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows customization in terms of shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, catering to demanding machine guarding requirements. The shields can be equipped with various mounting options for versatility and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios when necessary.
