The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide offers a no offset configuration, constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, which ensures an extremely tough, rigid, and durable safety shield designed to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. This product includes CE, UL, and CSA certifications and comes with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is also available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, effectively addressing a wide range of machine guarding challenges. Various mounting options are offered, and the shields are designed for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios as required. Additionally, all shields feature vertical and horizontal adjustability to adapt to differing work setups and table heights.
