The Protector Series Shield for lathe crosslide is designed without an offset and is constructed of 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing a durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes a comprehensive modular design allowing for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to tackle complex machine guarding challenges. It features various mounting options for flexibility in installation, including the ability to reverse the shield for opposite-hand mounting scenarios. Additionally, all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights. The product carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and all components come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is also available to maintain optimal performance.
