The kit includes a drench hose unit designed for deck mounting, ideal for rinsing any part of the user's eye, face, or body, noting that under ANSI Z358.1 - 2009, drench hose units supplement but do not replace other types of emergency equipment. It features a single FS-Plus™ spray head with a "flip top" dust cover, internal flow control, and a filter to remove impurities from the water flow. The valve is a forged brass squeeze valve activated by a stainless steel lever handle, with a replaceable stainless steel seat for exceptional durability; the valve closes when the lever handle is released. The hose is an 8-foot reinforced PVC hose rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 PSI. The mounting is via a deck flange for countertop installation, equipped with a handle locator guide to position the handle facing forward at all times. The supply connection is a 3/8" NPT male swivel-type inlet, and the unit comes with an ANSI-compliant identification sign. The entire unit is fully assembled and water tested prior to shipment.
