The synthetic fibers are flexible, UV and abrasion resistant, and will not rust. The design includes a secure lock that holds the shackle closed during use and is attached to the shackle to prevent the common issue of lost pins associated with steel shackles. Weighing considerably less than steel options, this synthetic shackle enhances safety and reduces the risk of injury if dropped. It is important to note that this product is not rated for lifting.
