The Medschenker® Smart Transport Medium™ is an FDA-listed collection and transport system designed for the collection, transport, maintenance, and storage of clinical specimens containing viruses and bacteria. The STM™ is housed in a plastic tube with a CQ-Lock™ screw cap and is capable of maintaining organism viability for 96 hours at room temperature, specifically between 2 to 25°C (35.6 to 77°F). This system is comprised of premium components, with 85% of the materials sourced from within the USA. It is engineered in Korea using US engineering standards, ensuring reliability and uncompromised quality, as the clean room procedures allow for sterilization of the STM™ only once to maintain reagent integrity. Medschenker® STM is classified under Class I by the FDA, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
