The combination eyewash and shower safety station is equipped with a temperature-actuated freeze protection valve that automatically opens to circulate water and prevent freezing when the temperature drops below 40°F. The design ensures there are no "dead legs" of standing water when the drain valve is open, and water flow ceases when temperatures rise above 40°F. It features a 10" diameter orange ABS plastic shower head with a 20 GPM flow control and a 1" IPS chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve with PTFE seals. The unit includes a stainless steel actuating arm and a 29" stainless steel pull rod. Two GS-PLUS™ spray heads make up the spray head assembly, each with a "flip top" dust cover, internal flow control, and a filter for impurities. The eyewash bowl is 11-1/8" in diameter and made of stainless steel, paired with a 1/2" IPS chrome plated brass three-way self-draining stay-open ball valve that allows drainage after use. The pipe and fittings are Schedule 40 galvanized steel and come with orange polyethylene pipe covers for visibility and corrosion resistance. The supply connection is a 1-1/4" NPT female top inlet, while the waste is a 1-1/4" NPT female outlet that can be adjusted to 9-1/4" or 15-3/4" above finished floor. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included, and all components are factory assembled and water tested prior to shipment, ensuring quality assurance.
