The Barrier-free, Auto Flow™ eyewash kit is designed for installation on countertops, featuring a lowered and extended eyewash outlet assembly to ensure accessibility for wheelchair users. Compliance with ADA requirements is achievable with 27" of knee clearance under the counter and a maximum counter height of 34". The kit includes two GS-Plus™ spray heads, each equipped with a "flip top" dust cover, internal flow control, and a filter to eliminate impurities from the water flow. The system utilizes a 1/2" IPS plug-type valve with PTFE coated O-ring seals; the swing-down spray head assembly activates water flow and remains operational until returned to the storage position. It comes with an in-line strainer to protect the valve and spray heads from debris and is designed to mount securely on a countertop behind the sink, with all necessary mounting hardware provided. The eyewash unit is constructed from polished chrome plated brass and features a 1/2" NPT female inlet. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included, and each unit is fully assembled and water tested prior to shipment.
