The Skullerz® 8974-MIPS safety helmet is a Class E safety helmet featuring integrated MIPS® technology designed to enhance worker head protection by mitigating the effects of dangerous angled impacts. The MIPS Elevate safety system, a low-friction layer, slides multi-directionally upon angled impact to reduce rotational force transmission to the head. This helmet offers heavy-duty yet lightweight and comfortable head protection, shielding the front, back, top, and sides of the head from falls, dropped objects, and impacts with stationary objects. The compact design enhances overall impact protection and visibility, while a chin strap ensures secure attachment during sudden movements. Key features include the MIPS® Elevate safety system for additional impact protection, compliance with EN 12492 side impact testing standards, a removable hard hat sweatband made of breathable and machine-washable materials for all-day comfort, integrated headlamp slots on the front and rear for use with Skullerz hard hat LED lights, and adjustable venting for improved air circulation. The helmet also offers easy size adjustments with a one-handed knob for better fit, accommodates eye protection, and supports easy bolt-on mounting of the Skullerz 8991 safety helmet.
