The Skullerz® 8967 Class E hard hat features a lightweight yet durable design with a 6-point suspension system that provides enhanced protection for the top of the head against falling objects and collisions with stationary obstacles. Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the shell is 15% lighter than traditional PC-ABS hard hats, ensuring comfort without sacrificing safety. The ratchet adjustment system offers 36 points for a secure and customized fit, while the ventilated open frame enhances air circulation, making it cooler for extended use in hot and humid environments. The height-adjustable suspension allows for better dispersion of impact forces compared to 4-point systems, and a removable foam-backed sweatband ensures all-day comfort by being both breathable and washable. This cap-style hard hat can be worn forwards to shield against sun and rain or backwards to improve upward visibility, and it also includes dedicated locations for attaching accessories such as ear protection, headlamps, lanyards, face shields, and chin straps. The hard hat accommodates sizes ranging from 6.5 to 8.25 inches in head circumference.
